Steven Heath Collection
Scope and Content
This collection contains historical information about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stakes and Wards from 1852 to 1999 in Cedar City and surrounding areas. It also contains histories of United States Presidential visits to Utah from 1875 to 1998, and information about the creation of the Old Sorrel Trail in connection with the Boy Scouts of America in 1996-97. This collection also contains histories of Southern Utah University from 1898 thru 2000. As well as information pertaining to the Old Spanish Trails Association.

Processing Information: This finding aid was created by the Special Collections Staff, Gerald R. Sherratt Library. If print, oversize or other materials have been removed to be stored separately it will be noted.
As part of the accession file project, in August, 2024, it was discovered that the following five large ledgers of local LDS records were originally separated out of the collection. They were then removed from the general catalog and added back into the collection. Additionally, the following items were found in the original control file. It is assumed that they were donated at the same time as the ledgers mentioned above.
