Biographical Information
Phebe Cox Thurber was born on Oct. 5, 1891, in Orderville, Kane County, Utah to Delaun Mills Cox and Charlotte Kelsey Cox. She married Joseph Shelton Thurber on Dec. 21, 1910, in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple. She had eight children. She was an author of fictional works, poetry, and personal essays. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 15, 1976.

Accession Information
Items in collection were donated by Phebe C. Thurber from 1968-1969. Additional items were donated by Gay Taylor in 1976.
