Biographical Information
Iva Rich Jones was born in 1895 in Elba, idao to Samuel James and Sarah Inez Rich. She married her first husband Glen Osborne in 1916. After his death she married Kumen L. Jones in 1944. Iva was an active member of the the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints, where she taught literary lessons in Relief Soceity. In addition to her religious service she served as the Secretary of the Center Committee of the Coordinating Council in Cedar City for 17 years, as well as for the Cedar City Red Cross for 11 years. Additionally she was active in Cedar City's community by her involvement in the arts, health and educational committees. She passed away on December 20, 1966 at her daughter's home in Payson, Utah. And was buried in Cedar City, Utah.
