Biographical Information
Warren Anderson grew up in Southern California. He first attended Brigham Young University, then transferred to Southern Utah State College. While a student worked at the college radio station and on the student newspaper. He graduated from SUSC with Bachelor of Arts in Communications. In 1the late 1970s he began a nine year career in journalism with the Daily Spectrum newspaper, in St. George, Utah. Eventually becoming the editor and manager of the Cedar City office. Since 1980 he has been the owner of a business specializing in the sale of old historical documents from the western U.S. and is a recognized expert and advisor on rare and historical western documents and autographs. He is author of two books, including Owning Western History - A Reference Guide to Collecting Old and Historical Western Documents.

Accession Information
Donated by Warren Anderson in 1985, 1991, and 2004. The 1991 donation of the Water Commissioner's Certificates were found on 10/28/2024 in the collection file from Ms. 24. They were added to the collection on this day.
