Scope and Content
This collection contains audio files and transcripts of oral histories conducted from a 1989 reunion of CCC men held at Zion National Park who worked in the CCC Camps in Southern Utah. Areas discussed in the interviews cover most of Southern Utah, including: Duck Creek, Devil's Backbone, Capital Reef, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Blue Springs.

Institutional History
The Civilian conservation Corps (CCC) story is both personal and global. More than three million boys and their families survived the Great Depression with the help of the Civilian conservation Corps. In 1989, Zion National Park held a reunion of the men who worked in the CCC Camps in Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks. Oral histories were recorded as part of the reunion.
