Biographical / Historical
Rhea Belle Higbee was born on 8 May 1886, in Toquerville, Utah, to Richard Higbee, and Lorine Lamb. She married Alma Thomas Wakeling on 12 February 1908, in St. George, Utah. Rhea was active in music and drama throughout southern Utah, participating in drama productions in various church and community organizations. She was also active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She died on 29 January 1977, in Cedar City.
