Material contaiundatedin the George Rasmussen collection includes correspondence with family and friends, legal and financial documents, and items of historical interest about the local bank, water company, county fairs, and railroad travel. His collection of railway timetables is from 1907.

Biographical Information
George Rasmussen, a native of Parowan, Utah, was a farmer and member of a large Parowan family. He kept items of interest relating to the Bank of Iron County, a water company, the Mormon Bishop's storehouse, Iron County Fair, and railroad time tables. Rasmussen was unmarried and the items were donated by his nephew, Alva Matheson of Cedar City.
