General
The United States Department of the Interior (USDOI), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Ely Field Office, Ely, Nevada, proposes to clear and revegetate approximately 1,000acres of a 2,750 acre project parcel, designated the Haggerty Wash Vegetation Conversion Parcel, in the northwestern portion of Cave Valley, Lincoln and White Pine Counties, Nevada. The purpose of this vegetation conversion project is to improve habitat for the American Elk in this area. This project is being conducted in cooperation with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
