The Ander Wright site, lies on land that has been transferred from the public domain to private ownership via the Marys River Reverse Land Exchange (known also as the OMI Exchange), as conditioned by a temporary land use restriction permitting the Bureau of Land Management to accomplish data recovery in mitigation of the effects of the land exchange on the site.
