General
Tybo, named for the Tybo Mining District, is a silver mining camp which sprang up in the late 1860's. by 1876, the town was booming; by 1888, all mining ceased. Sporadic attempts at silver production occurred over the next five decades. The town is now inhabited by at least one person but certainly fewer than ten. There is talk of another incipient mining revival.
