This collection mostly concerns with Macfarlane family history. Macfarlane biographies, funeral services, and clan reunion programs make up a significant portion of the collation. Palmer, Urie, and Middleton family names/histories are also included in this collection. This collection also features short stories of interest of Cedar City and St. George, as well as a few other surrounding towns. Photos and negatives include portraits of the Macfarlane family and other unidentified people, landscapes, and objects. Other topics include Johnson's Fort, Mormon immigration, settlement of southern Utah, and BNS buildings. Dates in this collection range from 1850s-1980s.
