During its lifetime, the BAC saw multiple pandemics, two World Wars, the Korean War and the Great Depression. Also, during this time the BAC had a High School as part of its campus, hosted an Army Flight School, and saw the start of the Utah Parks Company and the National Parks. After World War II, BAC grew into a larger campus. In 1953, BAC spilt from Utah State and became the College of Southern Utah.
