Institutional History
The Iron County Telephone Company was created in February 1908. The first board was formed of local business leaders and educators with the mission to construct and maintain the telephone system
The company grew under the management of J.S. Woodbury. Eventually reaching from Paragonah to Kanarraville, Utah. In 1923, the Mountain States Organization purchased the Iron County Telephone Company.
