Iron County (Utah)

The Belle Armstrong Collection contains the histories, remembrances, and thoughts about early Cedar City.

The Della Dame Edmunds Collection contains journals of William H. Dame, biographical and manuscripts relating to Rueben McBride, and Hyrum Roy McBride ranging from 1840-1888. Collection consists of mostly photocopies.

Items represent Stowell's interests during his term. Includes documents, correspondence, reports, books, news clippings and some photographs.

In this collection there is a variety of information Gwyn many have used in her teaching of elementary school and higher education classes. There is history of the area, the people of the area, and even a book one of her classes put together about the Iron County Settlement.

This collection is comprise of annual extension reports from Iron County 1916-1924, and 1931-1948. Included in the year reports are photographs, lists, correspondence, worker reports, and other supporting documents.

This collection contains minutes and financial statements of the Iron Co. Telephone Company from 1909-1919. Minutes include those of Stockholders and Directors.

The Rhoda Matheson Wood Collection contains the writings, remembrances, and thoughts about Southern Utah, Cedar City, and the University that Rhoda wrote during her lifetime.

The William H. Dame Collection contains documents pertaining to Dame's service as Iron County Recorder and Parowan Stake President, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, during the late 1870s and early 1880s. Items pertaining to legal issues include deeds, notes, District Court Notices, and correspondence. Items relating to his church serivce include correpondence, tithing receipts and general accounting documentation. Personal items include notes and receipts.
