TThe Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities record group contains items relating to the accreditation process at Southern Utah University from 1946-2017. Both official reports and self-assessments along with meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, manuals, and handbooks written by NWCCU and Southern Utah University.

Scope and Content The Parley and Mabel Collection contains programs, publications, articles, and memorabilia the Dalley's collected over their life span. The shells and minerals donated by Parley Dalley have been removed from the manuscript collection and are currently being housed by the geology department. Most of the material contained in the Roy Halversen Collection consists of items pertaining to his work at the university. There are programs from the music department and class records that Mr. Halversen kept concerning his students. There are also publications from other musical institutions. A collection of music scores have been cataloged into the Sherratt Library holdings.

Materials in the SUSC Photo Services collection are the negatives and proofs of photographs taken of campus activities, staff and faculty, and special events.

Items in the record group are purely newsletters distributed to faculty and staff on campus.

Majority of items in the collection relate to Presiden't Bennion's time at SUU. Included in these papers are correspondence, speeches, meeting minutes, news clippings, scrapbooks, photograph, awards, programs and other administrative items. Some items in this collection are from his undergraduated education, and outside professional experience.
